Yes. The Connections mobile crisis team treats anyone in need of assistance.

Once dispatched the mobile crisis team will arrive on the scene and assess the situation. The mobile team is comprised of a licensed behavioral health provider and a behavioral health responder/paraprofessional who are specially trained in emergency intervention, safety planning, and de-escalation involving natural supports. The Mobile Crisis Team also has a program Director to help facilitate clinical supervision, after care, and referrals.

The response team will quickly respond to situations and provide onsite mental health consultations, assessments, and interventions with the goal of resolving and/or stabilizing the situation and individual in crisis.

If the team was dispatched at the request of first responders (police, fire), the Connections mobile responders will work with the first responders to determine if the mobile crisis team can assume responsibility for the situation; allowing responders to return to their duty.

Should additional supports be needed to stabilize and resolve the crisis, the mobile crisis team will make the appropriate referrals.
