Immediate access crisis care in Prince William
The Prince William Crisis Receiving Center, operated by Connections, is proud to begin the first chapter of expanding access to behavioral health services in the Northern Virginia region.
- Phase one: Adult observation and crisis stabilization services are now open.
- Phase two: Adult walk-in services are expected to open in November 2025.
- Phase three: Behavioral health services for youth ages 12 and older will follow, with a date forthcoming.

Once fully operational, Connections Prince William crisis receiving center will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, serving both youth and adults in need of behavioral health crisis care.

24/7 mental health care

Comprehensive treatment and care for all individuals 24/7/365.
Walk-in mentalhealth clinic
Two 24/7 walk-in mental health clinics – one for youth and one for adults – will be open to all individuals in need of mental health support, regardless of insurance or circumstance.
Crisis stabilization
A 23-hour observation unit providing rapid assessment, treatment, stabilization, and proactive discharge planning in a therapeutic environment.
Extended stabilization, treatment, and evaluation
Two 16-bed units will treat individuals requiring extended stabilization and treatment and evaluation services.
